All-Star weekend is here. But first we have one last night of games on the docket. Enjoy the weekend festivities especially the dunk contest which will probably suck.

Here are two alley-oops to take you home…..

Way to take the charge, Marcus Smart. My high school coach would have had a heart attack if I bailed on taking a charge regardless of the guy’s size.

The first angle looks incredible. When did Gerald Henderson start getting good again?

Thursday Slate for February 11th, 2016
New Orleans @ Oklahoma City—8pm EST/5pm PST (OKC -11.5; O/U 218.5)
Washington @ Milwaukee—8pm EST/5pm PST (MIL -1.0; O/U 212.5)

Prices are courtesy of DraftKings.

Point Guard (High Value): Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City ($11,200)
Small slate so there are a variety of high end options to mix and match. However, 100% of the lineups are going to have either John Wall or Westbrook tonight. Both are playing heavy minutes and doing everything for their respective teams. I like Westbrook over Wall because New Orleans has done a terrible job all year at guarding Point Guards (and guards in general). Westbrook will be the main beneficiary and the better point guard as a result.

Bargain(s): Norris Cole, New Orleans Pelicans ($5,400); Jerryd Bayless, Milwaukee Bucks ($4,400)

Shooting Guard (High Value): Khris Middleton, Milwaukee Bucks ($6,900)
Again at this position, it’s going to be one or the other. Most lineups will have either Middleton or Bradley Beal tonight. Both are good options considering the slate, but I like Middleton more due to the Wizards defense especially guarding Shooting Guards. With the PG position in flux with the Bucks, Middleton can also rack up assists.

Bargain(s): Dion Waiters, Oklahoma City Thunder ($4,600); Garrett Temple, Washington Wizards ($4,200)

Small Forward (High Value): Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder ($10,400)
Durant will be heavily owned tonight. Starting Otto Porter or Giannis may be solid contrarian picks tonight. Durant will be going against Alonzo Gee or Dante Cunningham and should have his way tonight. I’m rolling with Durant tonight because he’s the best option at this position.

Bargain(s): Otto Porter, Washington Wizards ($5,500); Jared Dudley, Washington Wizards ($4,500)

Power Forward (High Value): Ryan Anderson, New Orleans Pelicans ($5,900)
I’m going with Anderson over Anthony Davis tonight because he’s cheaper and the Pelicans will need his scoring to stay in the game against the Thunder. You’ll need to pay less on this position or SF to insure you get a top PG. I’m going mid-level and Anderson is a good buy.

Bargain(s): Serge Ibaka, Oklahoma City Thunder ($5,300); Jabari Parker, Milwaukee Bucks ($5,000)

Center (High Value): Marcin Gortat, Washington Wizards ($6,700)
Center has a few options tonight. I like Gortat because he’ll play heavy minutes and be called upon to neutralize Greg Monroe who played great in his last game. Both Monroe and Gortat are separated by $300 on DK so you could take your pick on either one. Gortat is a double-double machine and, on a night where every dollar counts, going the cheaper route may save you in the long run.

Bargain(s): Enes Kanter, Oklahoma City Thunder ($5,100); Omer Asik, New Orleans Pelicans ($3,300)

Get well soon!
